Novotel Lille Centre Gares

To a certain extent the location is good - close to Gare Lille Flandres and reasonably close to Lille Europe and intercity bus services. Not too far (12-15 minutes walking from downtown). A bit far from places such as the Citadel or the University - bus stations are not very close. The vicinity gets dirty in the evenings and morning and some shady characters are around. The hotel itself is clean, my room was decently sized, all services very convenient, internet runs great, they have a restaurant and non-stop bar services and the stuff is very good, friendly and helpful. Overall good value for the money.

The hotel is conveniently located for the train station (Flandres). Breakfast was nice offering a good range. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No complaints at all- I wasn’t necessarily expecting too much but it was a great stay. Room was very spacious, comfortable beds, a couple of free juices and coffees. Location wise it was excellent, a short walk from both the rail stations. Bar area was nice and there was a little play area for the kids too. The staff were all lovely with perfect English. I’m surprised it isn’t rated higher on Booking.com based on our experience, which was very positive.

I like breakfasts, an environment for children, a close location from a train station and a center in general. The hotel's staff is friendly and professional.

Comfortable beds and good size room for a small family. It is on a busy street so can get slightly noisy but at night this was reduced so we slept well. Staff friendly and spoke English. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment. The room is a little tired and not new, but for 2 nights not a major problem. Location is ok, maybe next time would like to be more central but close to both stations which is what we wanted!
